My sister is dating a man 14 years older than her (shes 24) is it true that love will defy age? is this rite? they do seem to be in love though

It definately can be true love, and there is nothing wrong with it as they are both adults. The only thing to be wary of is that everyone's health tends to decline as we age. At 24 and 38, there are not too many health issues to worry about. However, when they are 64 and 78, your sister may end up spending her last healthy years (when she could still be travelling, working, having fun, etc) taking care of a very ill person. This is all well and good if she knows this ahead of time and thinks the years between then and now are worth any sacrifices she will make later in life for him.

i gotta say YES, it can. If its true love that is. See an older guy is much more expirienced and considerate than a young guy who dosnt know his backside from his windshield wiper and just wants to hump every girl he meets (lets face it we all do at that age). The older guy may not be into skateboarding, coke snorting and base jumping and therefore seem less exciting but i like to think we make better lovers, offer a lot more emotional support and basically offer genuine love and security and stability. But hey i would say that wouldnt i, at my age.

I will try to help you to the best of my ability. I am a Buddhist. This spiritual person named Damien may perhaps have been someone in a past lifetime of yours who has killed you. He has now returned in demon form to make your life miserable. I suggest you talk to him more often. Question him and ask him why he is doing these things to you. Tell him that you are willing to be his friend and work things out between you. If he continues to want to kill you/ convince you to commit suicide, contact a priest and get an exorcism done on you. Move to a different house, because your house may be haunted. Best of luck. You seem like an interesting person. I feel as though I know what you are going through.

True love defies everything...nothing stands in the way of true love....
As long as they are both adults, the age difference doesn't matter...what matters is that they truly love and respect each other....

I dated a man 13 years younger than me. In the end, he wanted to be with someone "his own age", even though he said he had never been with anyone who encouraged him like I did. She dumped him six months later and I laughed so hard I almost fell down.

Not likely. He is 38. When she is 38 he will be 52. When she is 52 he will be 66. When she is 66 he will be 80.

As you get older the age gap becomes less and less signifcant. That's a considerable difference but I think love knows no boundaries, age or otherwise.

yes!! my friend is 18 and her bf is 40.....i know it seems iccy, and i thought so at first, but seeing them together made me realise that they were truly in love and cared for eachother, despite the age difference.
