Because of the terrorists and Saddams defiance on wmd's. which by the way, were there, one shouldn't be so stupid to think that Saddam wasn't smart enough to move it into Syria.

Many people say that this war is all about George Bush, and that he lied when he said there where WMD's in Iraq. Where WMD's used on 9/11, on our Embassy's, on our Navy in Yemen. The war of the terrorist is not about dropping one big bomb. It's about small strategic strikes that cause panic. We found hundreds of documents on how to create deadly nerve gas, and Saddam had widely tested it on his own people. We found an entire fleet of air craft buried in the desert and ready to be unearthed to be used on attacks to spread dirty bombs, and nerve gas. No a nuclear bomb that would wipe out 1/2 the world was not found, but that does not mean there was not proof found that gone unchecked Saddam would not have been pouring the insurgents and his technology straight to Al-Quida, and the Taliban.
Watch the videos and get an education. The only group that has lied has been the press.

I certainly do not believe that George W. Bush woke up one morning and decided to send thousands of young men and women into harm's way. That is as ridiculous as so many other "reasons" I've heard. However, on September 11. 2001 I watched as Osama Bin Laden sent people to die with evil pleasure. Do not forget that our country was attacked in a blatant act of war. Do not be so blind as to believe Saddam did not support and help fund this act. He also was creating weapons of mass destruction to be used not only his own countrymen but eventually on this country. We have been so safe for so long in America with war not touching us here on our native soil that we have become a nation of people with blinders on regarding the hard truths of this world. We should be grateful for a military that protects and serves. Just so you know, I am not a "hawk". I do not love war, I do not want my sons to die. But, I will support my youngest son when he graduates and joins the marines as he has planned since he was 8 years old.
Bush is not a perfect president. We have never had one, nor will we ever. We are by our nature imperfect beings.
I will close by saying. We should support both our President and our military, not blindly but with some appreciation. Thank you for your question. You have given me a opportunity to voice an opinion I've wanted to for some time.

This war, in its present state is because of jihad. In the middle east, there is a myriad of fanatical muslims swarming to Iraq for the chance to kill American soldiers and Iraqi civilians. It wasn't their war until they decided it was their destiny to fight the infidel, because this is what their imam told them they should do.
This so called religious teacher, the imam, might be a half tard for all we know. He believes he has the right to teach these pathetic imbeciles, to go and blow themselves up, and there will be 72 live virgins ready to jump their bones.
Really! Does anyone in their right mind believe that any bimbo in her right mind is going to drop trou, to do a dead guy who has no body parts left? Granted arab women don't exactly send shock waves through an audience of a beauty pagent, but dead guys with no body parts? I think not!
GWB is just the guy these dumb F ucks shouldn't mess with. He has two years to find a way to destroy these little pukes and I'm reasonably confident that he will. He will, because he will stay the coarse. The US will stay the coarse until the job is done!

President Bush's hands certainly aren't clean of it, but it's a huge stretch to say he's the sole cause of it. As the Commande-in-Chief of the armed forces, he can essentially start a war single handedly. And in this case, he did.
The actual cause of the war was the fact that American people's reaction to the events of 9/11 coincided with the long term military "to-do" list, essentially forcing the current administration into action.

This war is not because of Bush. Because I am intelligent I know that a President alone cannot declare war. Congress supported it with a 100% vote. Amazing how people seem to forget that. (Or maybe it is just pure ignorance)

Because Saddam didn't want to Cooperate. All he had to do was get the stick out of his ***, but he couldn't do it. So they did what was necessary.
People seem to forget....Bush wasn't the only one involved. America wasn't the only one involved. There were several other countries who also sent in troops. There were even more that gave backing of some sort. Think about that one. But hey if uneducated people want to talk crap about things they don't understand, atleast I have a reason to laugh during war time.

There were no Iraqis on any of the flights on Sept. 11. Most were Saudi and Bush loves the Saudis. Bush attacked the wrong country. It's all Bush's fault and he should be tried in the hague for war crimes.

No. The 9/11 attacks were planned during the Clinton Administration, so I think that it's because of him.
