Add some chicken bouillion to the water that you are steaming it with, then add some minced garlic and some salt and just a few pats of butter. Yummm!

I love broccoli, but I do not add so much seasoning as to cover the flavor of the broccoli. I put some water in a saute pan let it boil add garlic salt and butter in sparing amounts then I add the broccoli and cook to the desired tenderness...

Something sweet and acidic goes nicely, such as lemon or a citrus fruit juice mix, a dash of salt and a couple chili flakes.

after you steam it, saute some fresh garlic and toss it with the broccoli. sprinkle in some slivered almonds.

i just did this recentley. put the broccoli in the steamer and before you steam it put minced onion and bacon bits in it.
