does my friend like me?

well, i have had a friend for about 6-12 months now, and i can't tell if he likes me. he has always been like the wierd, kinda goofy kid, but in his own cool little way-which i like in a friends view and in a "like" view. well, the thing is he is a lot nicer to me and he gives me some like chips during lunch, (he'll give them to my friends but he'll turn his back to them and turn my way and give me more....hmmm....but he also lets my friends get the hint-but will stilll not give them more.) so, i can't tell if he is being his goofy old self, or if he is trying to drop the himt that he likes me more than a cool friend. By the way, i am still i n Jr. High. FYI i am to young to date. that means i can't ask him out. so, how can i LIGHTLY drop the hint that i KINDA like him and how can i tell if he likes me? please help! SOS!

He likes you, he's asking himself the same questions. If you can't date though because your in Junior High, which I applaud you for, then just be open and honest with him. If he's as young as you then he's probably trying to figure out how to tell you as well. We guys aren't that smart and when we're younger we need all the help we can get. If you tell him you like him and are pretty confident he likes you back then he should be happy about it too. We men need things to up front and direct.

Well it kind of sounds like he's just being your friend, and maybe he kind of shy to just tell you flat out, but if you like him why don't you just have an one-on-one conversation with him about how you feel about him and ask him if he feel the same way about you. YOU CAN ALWAYS DATE FOR FUN

he was just giving you chips, no effence or anything it dosnt meen he likes you, he was probably just being nice and giving you chips. Hes most likely being nice, if he really like you he would flirt with you, and you could flirt back.
