As victims of police misconduct we are very aware of how this country is becoming a police state. We live in a small community in Southern Indiana, where the cops treat people how they please depending on how well they like or dislike you. It is obvious by the destruction of OUR Constitution , that America is a police state, and anyone who doesn't see it , is living is complete denial. We all need to stand up AGAINST it, but no one has the courage anymore. Too aftaid to lose what little they have allowed us to keep. Very pathetic. Very American. VERY sad.

While some times yes, law enforcement officials do go overboard, but you have bad apples in every line of work. That is absolutely inevitable with human nature. However 98% of the headlines you quoted were taken out of context and deserve a full explanation with each one before a judgement can be formed.
In short, if you don't like it get the hell out of our country.

I didn't happen to see anything about the good any of them ever do so I'd have to think this site is the works of a disgruntled citizen who feels picked on. I know there are a lot of bad cops but there are more good ones. I think they get the dirty end of everything when they work so hard to get something accomplished risking their lives and some idiot judge lets the bad guy walk.

Ya know, there are other places on this earth you can go. Like third world countries where you would have to steal your food. And if ya get caught, they will hack off your hands. And if you make too much noise, they will cut out your tongue, look at a person wrong, they burn your eyes out. Yeah, that's better than going to court here. Tasers are a better option than some. And if you play your cards right, we might could even take up a collection and send you off in style! NO CHARGE, take the ticket and get outta here!

Yes, America is getting to be a little off the chain. Arrested for wearing a "peace" shirt? I know that must have happened in a red state, where the concept of wanting peace is somehow anti-American....

Good research!!!! No one hates the phucking cops worse than I do. They are the hired thugs of an oppressive leadership. They are the hired thugs of the insurance industry. Extortion is perfectly legal as long as it is sanctioned by the phucking government. And the ~justice system~ only benefits the rich and connected.. It is time to make it illegal for lawyers to be in positions of trust and leadership. It is time to dump our worthless government and put people in that can relate to the masses.PHUCK THE COPS- PHUCK LAWYERS- AND PHUCK THE GOVERNMENT

Some of those things are excessive, some need more explanation. A collection of one line "headlines" do not prove a police state.
