No, I run 2000 and prefer it to 2003 on my XP pro.

No, installing office 2000 will not harm windows XP.

now, if you were installing windows 2000, that would affect windows XP.

Installing software applications or suites will not affect the current installation of your operating system. The 2000 on Office 2000 just means the version of Office that it is.

They are 2 seperate programs...one works inside the other. No harm.

i dont see why it would, altho i would look on microsoft site for requirements and see if it supports xp (i assume it will)
