Yes, Both lied! Now comes the bigger question as to why!
Clinton lied to keep us out of Rwanda, because the american public was not ready, willing or able to pay the price in blood in an attempt to stop the ethnic clensing that was going on there. If they had not been bombed into submission, he would not have taken American troops into Bosnia. Most would say these lies were for the good of the country.
NOW, What about Bushes reasoning for lieing? We know all the cover stories are BS! NO WMD, it wasnt for democracy, it wasnt to free the people, and it wasn't to overthrow a tyrant (Saddam and Bush were family friends) so what was the reason?
Was it an honorable reason to lie, or treason?

surely, no. notwithstanding Bush's dishonesty approximately WMD, etc. could be wide-unfold, technically it incredibly is now not a contravention of the law (he wasn't under oath on the sphere, among different reasons). yet he's in clearviolation of the form--and his oath of place of work to shelter and shelter the form--on severalcounts, which comprise torture of prisoners, denial of due technique and habeus courpus, and (from a legal point of view, it incredibly is maximum damning) kin spying on law-abiding human beings without warrents. those are actually not problems on which his guilt is uncertain--his very own public statements volume to a confession of having violated the regulation in approaches that for sure upward push to the constitutional standardof "excessive crimes and misdemeanors." besides the shown fact that, as as to if he will might desire to be impeached, there are 2 distinctive factors to keep in mind. First, in practice, the single that's running the Presidency should not be Bush besides the shown fact that Cheney--and if Bush have been to be impeached Cheney might come to be president. we would be worse off than we are definitely--a ways worse. different than Cheney have been impeached as good, there could be little element in forcing Bush out of the White homestead. the different element is greater standard. Impeachment--and the two conviction or the forced resignations of Bush and Cheney--is a drastic step. The selection it incredibly is approximately what's interior the excessive-high quality long term hobbies of our u . s .. And collectively as i'm thoroughly conscious those 2 richly might desire to be dealt with because of the fact the criminals they are, i'm now not confident that it incredibly is the wonderful for our u . s .. and that's what subjects--they are beside the factor.

Sigh... when will people quit pointing out the already known problems and let's start working together to fix them. I agree with the asker, politicians are all about themselves and we must stand up and fix the wrongs no matter our party affiliation.

I'm not a Republican, but I dislike the business of calling the President a liar. He of course spun things the way he wanted, and he was in error with his analysis of intelligence, but that doesn't rise to the level of a lie.

Sigh...Bush did not "get us in Iraq" (I had to put that in quotes because I haven't served in Iraq)
Since I have a brain, I know that a President alone can not declare war. Congress supported and voted for war 100%.
As for Clinton...He is the reason we are in the predicament we are in today.

Ah yes!! We should listen to you, all knowing and powerful one!! Run for office, since you are such a noble person of such impeccable character!! Never made a mistake in your life I bet?
Since when did George Bush acquire the powers of a Jedi Knight to wave his hand and convince a majority of Congress to authorize the use of force in Iraq? They all read the same intelligence Bush did, if they took the time to look at it that is.
