So is it because they have enough respect for me, they know I'm good with what I am... Or are they secretly wanting me to go to hell, those dubious devils.

They are probably praying for you.

I'm a Christian, and I don't try to convert anyone. If someone asks me a question about my faith, I'll answer. But not with the intention of trying to get you to come over to my views. I became a Christian because the ones I met were NOT judgmental, and they sincerely cared for others regardless of their beliefs. I hung out at the Campus Christian Community when I went to college, and there were people from all belief systems, including paganism to atheism. Everyone was welcome, and we all respected one another highly. I've taken that feeling of all encompassing love and respect with me into "the real world." True Christianity is "Judge not lest ye be judged" and "Love your neighbor as yourself."

You know what, I wonder the same thing.

Almost every Christian I actually personally know is just lovely. They're kind, generous, caring, sensitive folks for the most part. Even though the majority of the Christians I know are well aware I'm a Witch, they see me for me and they know being a Witch can't be all that bad.

And then I come here and... well... look.

You know what I think it is? It's the distance. To a lot of Christians here, I'm just a Witch. But if they had a face to go with my name, and could look me in the eye and get to know me... They wouldn't be so Fire-And-Brimstone.

I had an experience like that. I was having lunch with a Christian friend and we were debating some religious point in a very friendly way. About an hour into a lady comes over to our table and starts talking to my friend about how he should really consider what the Mormons have to say about Jesus and how his bible contains many errors.

She stood there talking for at least 10 minutes and never said a word to me past "hello". I assume she figured I was just a lost cause.

Sniff ...

I never asked him to believe a certain way.My people are real true loving Christians .and I learned to just live my life as best I Can with the Spirit of Gods guidance and learned from my people how to just be a Christian and it is up to the individual to wont the Spirit within them.when he died I prayed about it and God let me know that Tim was being taken care of.that God loved him.and I was grateful.Tim was great guy.I wish you the best.

I do have Christians that I do run around with some. They know only too well that if they try to convert me, I will tell them off and tell them where to go. So, this is never a problem. And, I guess to, that they know I am a Jew by Choice, and I will never go back to Christianity.

But, I would rather still stay around Jews, Muslims, and Atheists.

The answer... is totally dependent on your perspective and viewpoint.
They could be desiring your eternal torment in hell, if you are cynical.
They could be praying for God to move you to the point where you ask them about Christianity.
They may be unconcerned for your eternal salvation at all if you believe in their disinterest.
They may hope to avoid pushing their religion on someone who may not want to know more about Christ and ruin a good friendship in the name of religion, especially in a time where religions are so active trying to gain members at the expense of others lives.

The answers are wide and varied and most likely tell you more about the Poster's viewpoints than hold any universal truth and answer to your question.
My question to you is why do YOU think they do not ask you or invite you into a dialogue about Christianity?
Your answer, IMO, would give the greatest awareness as to why they haven't brought it up with you.
If you are truly interested, perhaps you ought to ask them. :)

I hope you find the answer you are looking for.

many religions DO NOT respect your views

they stand on the fact they can violate your personal space and beliefs and take a moral high ground over yours and require submission and silence your free will and then ask for money, time, obedience and loyalty

I would imagine a real christian lives by deed, not by evangelizing and there is no need for pushing ilk and puke on others because the message of Jesus was simple....

LOVE

it isn't loving to push your views on others

and Jesus didn't condemn those that he found issues with, but kept thier company and offered suggestions

what christian does that? none

Paul was first Kristos ian, telling people about a Karast and morphing Judaism into something pagan and mystic

I think you are lucky enough to know some of the few good christians that believe that being a good person is enough. You are certainly in luck there.

I'm guessing you already know about Christ and rejected Him, so what exactly do you expect them to do? We were told to spread the word, you've heard it, so why do you assume they should just keep on bugging you? What would be the point? It has nothing to do with being "good with what you are", it has to do with the fact that if you reject Him, no one can force you to accept Him. Once you're heard the word, that's it, its up to you.

Change comes from within. So if they aren't trying to convert you, they accept you exactly the way you are. What else would God do but the same thing.

Evidently they are "real" friends.
