that's because nobody knows what that big M word means anymore. The best relationship I have in my life started eighteen years ago, and I Married him eight years ago. I see nothing that will ever change that, and we have taken each other to the edge of Hell and back again, but nothing ever had or ever will dissolve that. Those who divorce do so because they lack conscious foresight, honesty with themselves and their partners, and commitment. I feel sorry for people who are not capable learning how and when to love. There is no substitute. If this was posted as a joke, you shouldn't have. You are mocking one of the greatest life experiences out there. (And men never will know some of them)

Issues that go unresolved for a long time. Resentments build up. Anger sets in. Personal verbal attacks start causing more resentment and anger. Then the couple coexsist like room mates. Knowledge is key. If we all had a personal Dr Phil, whos help was free,( money is one of our problems) Our marriages may be able to survive. Reading his dumb book sucks, he needs to make personal visits to all of our houses. Yeah right.

So far my marriage hasn't resulted in divorce, but in case I get tired of him I might consider annulment instead. Can you annul a marriage after 18 years?
