It depends on your tolerance level. Long Islands are pretty strong, so if you have a low tolerance, it might make you sick. If you prolong drinking one or two for an entire evening, you should be fine. And don't switch between Long Islands and beer in one night!

Potentially. Long Island Iced Teas have five white liqours in them: vodka, (light) rum, gin, tequilla, and triple sec. Depending on how it's made, a Long Island Iced can have the equivalent of 5 shots of liqour in it. Two glasses could be 10 shots of liqour, and that's a lot!

Try an AMF (adios motherfcker) if you get sick of Long Islands

It can and mainly it's because of all the combinations of liquor and of course that depends on how the facility makes them. A real Long Island will knock your socks off if you aren't a seasoned drinker. lol

Because it is a mixed drink filled with many different alcohols and some people cant tolerate the mix

that's my favorite drink, i always order a long island, and i never get sick!??? unless i start mixing drinks, but there is a drink that makes me sooo sick a white Russian!!!! yuck!!!

yes, its made with alot of acohol of one kind or another it can verily make you sick. does me! i don't drink anyway.
