who is better H&R on-line or Turbo Tax on line?

No no no, the IRS links to a bunch of free on line e file services that allow individuals to fill for free the one I remember using was freefileusa or something. The scam is they charge something like 20$ for a state return but the Fed one is totally free. After spending three hours doing my mothers taxes the IRS lost the return and my mother lost the copy I made for her, loged back on to freefile the return was saved and then resubmitted.

search the irs web sight they have a list of free efile places they are all pretty good

I've used TurboTax for the last 3 years. . .I haven't had any problems and they basically guide you through it.
I'd recommend their site.
