I will pray for you, but if you really love her that much you will be faithful to her.

Tell her why you had the affair... she is looking for answers,
What was it that made you go to another woman? If you really love her now what was different back then? and what has made you realise that love you feel for her now?
The more truth you put in words the more love you can create. It is your love that overcomes these troubles. Tell how you feel now and how you felt then describe what is inside.
I promise you, if you truly love her... and if you get it true she will love you more for the truth is true love and most people can tell it apart from that which you call hell.
I recommend writing it down first and if she will not listen then at least you can give her your answers.

On a more practical level -
1. Apologize BIG TIME.
2. Immediately make an appointment with a marriage counsoler for yourself (she could be included later).
3. Apologize and tell her you are starting counsoling asap.
4. Tell her you want to give her time to think about things.

If I were her, I would distrust any cheaters.
But I'm not her. I'm one of those people that if a girl were to cheat on me, and I found out about it, she will be gone in three hours. That's my grace period. If she's still there, I'll take all of her belongings (if I have a house or apartment) and leave them in a giant bag next to her car and tell her to have a nice life.
I'm a nice person, but you cause me grief, you brought my wrath on yourself. You can't complain.

This is not a prayer forum, there are THOUSANDS of them on the web. Go there.
So god could help your situation at any moment. But he sits there waiting for us to pray to do so. How many people would he need to change his mind and actually help you? Is this really how you conceive of your god? Scary stuff.

I will. You do the same, he needs to hear it first hand.

Prayers are pointless, they obviously don't work and are for gullible peopl hoping for more than nature can allow.
