Well thats pretty much what 9 week old pups do. Get a high quality dry kibble for puppy's, medium size breeds and go by the age feeding instructions on the bag. At that age they usually eat 3-4 times a day

I have a English bulldog and when he was a puppy we gave him goats milk and when he got a little bigger we gave him oatmeal and goats milk. Then when he started eating better we gave him the digestion dog food and goats milk. Now he is 3 and eats table food and dog food.
Oh and when your bulldog gets bigger. Give him ice cube in the summer. They don't throw it up as much

I have a boston, and they are pretty similar.
I find best (for his farts and his energy and his coat) to give him a cup of Royal Cannon minature in the morning, and in the evening chicken and rice.
I cook 2 kilos of chicken pet mince (a butcher can sell you this for about 2 dollars, it is the off cuts of chickens, raw and then minced), about 2 or 3 cups of brown rice, and any veggies i have lying around, but not onions or potatoes. My fruit store gives me soft carrots, corn and peas and stuff instead of throwing them out. Boil the rice first, then after about 15 minutes and the mince add vegies. When soft, drain it and let it cool, then make little hamburger patties of about 1 cups worth. Wrap them in cling wrap, and you can feeze them, and take one out each evening for the next day.. This recipie makes about a months worth, and only costs about 7 dollars. They love it. My breeder uses the same thing for her show dogs . For an added bost, add a table spoon of olive oil or an egg to it once every week or so to make their coat super shiny.

if u want u can go to ur vet and they give u a list of all foods that are best for ur breed. For example if it is overweight they wil give u an example of diet food same thing the other way around too skinny they wil give you a list of fatting food. if ur dog is just right they will give u food that maintains the weight.
