I'm 15 years old and for the past few weeks, my stomach starts hurting after I eat my lunch at school. I pack lunch, and it's usually junk food (you know, Debbie cakes, fruit rollups, and those Caprie Sun drink puches...bad, I know). Sometimes I have healthy things, like cheese sticks and chopped veggies. Anyways, after I eat, my stomach starts aching all over and I have to bend over or it is unbearable. The pain goes away in a few minutes (usually 10). I tried a Peptobismal (sp?) today and it didn;t do anything...this doesn't happen all the time, usually 2-3 times a week. But it usually only occurs at school.
Could it be the unhealthy foods? Or something else? I'm scared. Really scared. My stepdad was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I'm just nervous.
Please help.

You should go see your doctor about this. It could be something serious, but more likely, its just all the junk food you're eating. My guess it for dinner, one of your parents prepares a somewhat healthy meal, and for breakfast you might have cereal, fruit, yogurt, or maybe nothing. More than likely its just what your eating.
You also said you drink Capri-Sun, but if you ever have a milk product, that could also be the problem. You might be lactose intolerant, which would explain why you have the pain right after you eat.
I would improve what you're eating and make an appoinment to go see your doctor.
Hope that helps.

Usually when someone gets a stomach ache after they eat unhealthy food like you do then it will give them an upset stomache. Anyone with common sense would know this. For about a year my husband act nothing but a upset stomache ache from eating at Mcdonald's. Now he won't eat there all the time anymore.

what do you different at night than at lunch? do you eat a healthy breakfast. ARE you a fast eater or do you allow it to be chewed up properly? do you see a family doctor on a regular basis?
I'D STOP THE UNHEALTHY FOODS AND JUST TRY some yogurts...with fresh fruit or some haelthy baked chips and salsa if you must have junk food. I'D STOP SEEING LITTLE DEBBIE!

It is probably something you are eating that is eating at you ... along with the nerves from worrying about your stepdad. Talk to your mom about this pain and see your family doctor. You could just be stressed out about something at school, or you might have a problem digesting something.
Good luck with this.

YOUR BODY PRODUCES DIFFERENT LEVELS OF ACID AT DIFFERENT TIMES OF THE DAY. YOU MIGHT HAVE A CASE OF GASTRITIS OR ACID REFLUX. GASTRITIS IS AN INFLAMATION OF THE STOMACH LINING. YOU NEED TO SEE YOUR DOCTOR INSTEAD OF ASKING ON THIS SITE. I AM A NURSE AND PROMISE YOU THAT IT IS PROBALLY SOMETHING VERY MINOR. DO NOT THINK THAT YOU HAVE PANCREATIC CANCER BECAUSE YOUR STEP FATHER DOES. IF YOU HAVE BEEN WORRIED ABOUT HIM,THAT MIGHT ALSO BE THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM. TELL YOUR PARENTS WHAT IS GOING ON AND SEE A DOCTOR.
