I like this guy who's from another country. I'll be in his homeland soon. I like him but I don't know if he likes me. We don't talk much. I told him I was coming to his country. And he didn't offer to show me to round but did ask me what line of work I'm after, how long will I be there and said I'll love the life style here? He flirts and says if I see you than something might just happen... How can I figure out if he likes me or not?

He may like you, but not in a romantic way. If he did, he would have offered to show you around, so he could spend time with you. That's what any guy, who liked a girl would do, he didn't, so that has to tell you something.
All he is now, is an acquaintance, not a friend. His flirting is just that, a fun thing to do, nothing serious.

If you're only form of communication is through Chat or E-mails, then it sounds like his dialogue is just friendly/flirtatious banter.
I wouldn't take his comments too seriously because if he hasn't had the courtesy to offer you guidance when you travel to his country then his intentions aren't really genuine.
However, if there are any other signs that indicate his trying to pursue you why not just ask him. It doesn't sound like it would jeopardise you're friendship.

Well he may like you, but how exactly are you going to have a long distance relationship across countrys? That could pose a slight problem...

You can tell by testing him, find out how far he'll go just to make you happy. And if you really want to test him find how what you mean to him and how are you affecting his life and trust me if it's and okay average answer than he MAY like you but if it's a sweet and thoughtful answer than he may actually like you!
