I am in high school, I have a girlfriend and we are going out this weekend. I don't have a car, is it ok if i ask her for a ride. Also, should we split the check for dinner or should i pay for it?

Do something real simple and inexpensive and pay for it yourself. I don't mean poor quality, just simple.
Afterall, she's paying for the transportation.

Its okay to ask her for a ride. As for the check, its up to you two. When me and my man go out, i always try to pay half but he won't take anything. I believe in 50/50 but pay if you think its the best thing to do. Try a joke like ask her, " You're paying right?'' and make sure you laugh after and if she becomes serious tell her you were joking and that of course you were gonna pay.

Offer to pay for everything. She should know you don't have a car, and in high school it's no big deal anyway, or at least I never remember anyone making a big deal of it. If she don't know you have a car, then you need to tell her and then ask if it's okay to get a ride.

As a girl in high school, I think it's okay to ask her for a ride, but I'd make sure to pick up the tab. Unless she offers to pay. If she does, then refuse, if she does it again, refuse again. She'll probably stop, but if she does it a third time, agree, but don't make a habit of this.

There isnt anything wrong with asking her for a ride but you should pay for the meal its out of respect. I hope you both have a great time and you two behave yourselves we know what you young ones do hey we all know been there done that.

You're only in highschool so I think that it's perfectly fine if you ask her for a ride. You can also offer to pay for the meal, but chances are she won't mind paying for her share of it... after all, men and women are equal right?

Well you should pay for everything since she is your girlfriend - I mean not all the time every now and then - Plus this time your not driving so yes please pay. Yes, ask her to drive it's ok. Does she know you don't have a car? have a great time.

Well the car situation I think is ok... It doesnt have to be just like the movies... As for the dinner, you should pay. Its the more gentlemen thing to do.

Yeah thats ok. it doesnt matter who drives the car. i like it better if a girl drives me. that way i dont have to worry about driving. i dont have a girlfriend right now, but i want 1. i have a problem though. i am just toooo shy. im not in high school.

I think it's OK if you ask her for a ride. But if she does drive, I think it would be nice if you treated for dinner. Just my opinion though. Have fun!
