Mederma helps improve the appearance of new and existing scars from things like traumatic accidents, acne, burns, skin cancer and mole removal. Mederma features Cepalin, a proprietary botanical extract that is safe for use on anyone, including young children.

While there is nothing that can make scars disappear, Mederma is effective in improving the appearance and texture of many types of scars. Mederma is a safe, invisible topical alternative that is worth trying and can even save patients hundreds of dollars compared to invasive and noninvasive treatments for scars such as injections, surgery, silicone sheeting and even cosmetic pads.

Patients should gently massage Mederma into the scar three or four times per day for eight weeks on new scars and three to six months on existing scars and stretch marks. Because it is greaseless, easy-to-use and dries quickly, Mederma can be conveniently applied throughout the day at work or home.

Mederma has quickly grown to become the No. 1 physician and pharmacist recommended product for the treatment of scars. I hope this information is helpful to you. I work with the product. For more info. contact me at awear@quixotegroup.com.

Over the summer I got a NASTY burn from a motorcyle muffler pipe. I went to the ER and had them look at it. It was 3rd degree burns and the size of a baseball. I used Mederma everyday (4 times a day) on it and it drastically helped! I have Light fair skin and i burn really easily. The dr's and my husband (he's a paramedic) all told me that the scar would never go away! Well, it's been months since it's happened and you can barely tell i had a burn there! I advise you to try it...it could help you!
