1. Check your ignition coil remove the wire and try to turn it over. If it does not spark then you have a bad ignitino coil. +Try to use gloves when doing this to avoid shock+

2. If the coil is good and it has sparks on it. Try to check your distributor. check every wire if it sparks. also check for signs of corrosion inside.. try to clean the cap, the contacts and the rotor as well.

3. Check the ignition points if you do have points or the electric ignition actuator if you have electronic ignition. These parts may fail too.

4. If you have gone this far and the spark plugs still don't spark. Then you have to get your car to a mechanic because if you go on with it... you might end up using more money for replacing parts that you probably won't need to replace.

5. Just to enumerate the things that you will possibly replace if needed be or parts that are important to consider.

a. Ignition Coil
b. Spark plug Wires
c. Distributor Cap and Rotor assembly with gears.

6. Things you may want to clean:
a. Spark Plugs
b. Distributor
c. Ignition coil points and terminals
d. Fuel Injectors/ Carburetor
e. Battery Terminals

Use sandpaper, baking soda to clean terminals... dry them too :)
Good Luck and I hope I gave you one of the best answers here...

It's probably a computer problem however it doesn't have to be. Check and see if there is a spark to the spark plugs and you can go from there. You probably have to remove the computer and take it in for testing to see what the problem is. Or take the car to a garage and have them check the computer. Places like Auto Zone and Checker Auto should be able to check the computer and let you know if it's good or bad. They will also have or be able to get a replacement at a good price

if you have a distributor, have it checked, if not, follow the plug wires to the ignition coil and check them. no spark indicates no power to the plugs.
distibutors have caps, rotors, and interior coil, all or one of which could be bad, as well as bad wires. if the coils are bad just replace them or it if you only have one. if you have a distributor, check the cap by removing it. if corroded contacts, replace it and the rotor. the coil is usually not going to be bad, but it may and can be checked if you know how. otherwise, have a mechanic check it. the last thing to check is the timing. it may have jumped time, or, if you replaced the cap or timing belt, it must be retimed.
