I played with one and it worked or did it?

Oh yeah! It's working. If I were you I would take it to the nearest dumpster and get rid of it. That's what a girlfriend and I did when we were about 12 or 13 yrs old. That thing can unleash all kinds of drama in your life. Have someone pray with you to remove any unclean spirits from around you.

It's a complicated question.

When I was younger we had people who would deliberately move the board to spell out things they wanted to hear and giggle over, and we had other, more serious sessions where entities did communicate through the board.

That said, several classes of spirits are known to be tricksters, liars and cheats - so it really depends on how you approach the matter.

Always use common sense when evaluating anything a spirit (or someone moving the board) says. If you receive a message saying you're going to marry Brad Pitt, or telling you it'd be a great idea to jump off a cliff - it would be best to take these messages with a heaping spoonful of salt (but mind your cholesterol).

Best of luck.

There's about a million theories about how Ouija boards work. Some people think that spirits of dead people move them, which could be possible, no one knows. Other people think that the people who are using it are moving it, but that spirits are moving it through them. That's possible as well, but once again, nobody knows for sure.

A more likely, completely plausible explanation is, that the people using them move it themselves. They might not be conscious of moving it, but their fingers subconsciously push it to form the letters and words that are expecting. For this reason, some people see the ouija board as a tool to get in touch with your inner self, rather than a tool to talk to dead people and demons. I'd suggest being careful anyway, just in case you do end up talking to something evil. Pray, cast protection spells, or whatever you believe in, just in case, and always say goodbye.

They do nothing. If messages are conveyed through a Ouija board, what moves the tray? In order to move the tray, there needs to be energy, and any energy that is there should be strong enough to move the tray should be able to interact with other mediums other than a plastic Ouija board tray. There is no known source of energy capable of interacting only with plastic Ouija board paraphernalia. If ghosts existed, it's ridiculous to think that they can only speak to people through wacky psychic's or something made by Milton Bradley.

I had a creepy experience with a ouija board once and would never mess with them again.

Ah, it was a bright and sunny day, whereupon I laid my hands upon the Ouija board.

Apparently I'm supposed to get married to some girl named Maria Escalante four years ago.

Ouija boards are of the devil and so the devil is trying to use his power to win you over to his side. It is very evil and I would suggest that you don't play with them anymore.

I do believe that they do work, however there are times when the human mind can deceive itself into making it work without realizing it. I guess to know the truth would be if the spirit told you something you did not know.

I don't think they really work although I'd like to believe they do. I think that someone is always pushing it, sometimes subconsciously. When you use them alone, I think it's your own nervous energy that makes it move. I've never been able to get one to work when I was alone but they always 'worked' when I was using one with others.

they work but it is by demonic influence that they do. I would not not mess with stuff like that!
I know you will probably get a kick out of my answer but it is true! Satan has used trickery since the Garden of Eden.
