It's only chauvinistic on the part of the patriarchal cultures through which the fact has been reported to us. I'm sure God would have preferred to have been reported as creating human beings, but we just weren't ready for that yet.

God created Man, that is, made it possible for Humans to come into existance. God created Adam, a man and from Adam, he created Eve, a woman as a complement (meaning to complete) to man.

So, even though woman was created from man, man is incomplete without woman.

not at all.... He also created woman and you know how she got her name?!?!? HE created God first and said - i will call you man. then He created the female and when He looked at her thinking of the helpmate for the man, He looked and said -- WHOAman!! HE knew he'd done a better job the second time around and was very happy. we've just shortened it over the years to woman ; )

Not at all.
If I had some power to be chauvinistic, I would deprive man from his rational sense in order that he will never post such ungrateful questions.

Well, it's true, it should have stay that way, but, a nice morning in paradise, Adam got bored and asked God.
"Hey God, couldn't you find something so I won't be bored all the time?"
God replied in His wisdom, "Sure, but I'll cost ya a leg, your left harm and half of your brain."
Adam thought about it for a while and finally asked:
" what can you do with just a rib? "

Yes it was, I met him, his name is swami muktananda paramahamsa, see his web site. when he left this earth realm he passed his power to Swami chidvilasananda, She is, in her own way as chauvinistic as he is. Probably because she is made in his image and likeness, having the power of God and speaks with such authority. Visit her at syda.org/theguru.

The way I heard it - God stepped back, took a look and said, "I can do better." So, he created woman.

God made them male and female. Man is the chavinist that interprets the scriptures, even though he has a great gaping blind spot in his thinking.
