It sore when I try to push myself up or lift my arms up.

You should see a Doctor to make sure there wasn't any damage done to ligaments or tendons surrounding your shoulder cavity.

Until then, use the RICE method to make yourself comfortable.

rest, ice, compression, elevation...although you wouldn't need to use the elevation part, since it is your shoulder.

You can also take 600-800mg of ibuprofen every 4-6 hours for pain.

apply cold therapy to reduce the inflammation and limit the use for a week. Ibuprofen or aleave will help with the pain and soreness. After a week if your not getting any better go see your physician.

Sounds like a torn Rotater Cuff. Need to see a Dr.
