can anyone tell me how to go to college out of state and my high school keep on giving me schools in my state which i dont want so what should i do i want to move to nyc and i live in a different state plsz help if u go to a schooll out of state can u plsz tell me step by step DO U MOVE TO NYC FIRST AND THEN APPLY FOR COLLEGE?? but then my high school credits will get ruined DO I GO TO THE PRINCEPAL OFFICE??i dont noe plsz helppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp step by step THANK U!!!!!

Research colleges online. Most of them have applications you can download, print out, and send in.
At my HS we got a lot of information from our guidance counselor. There should be a contact at your school who you can talk to about your preferences.
You shouldn't have to move there first, though it might help to be able to go visit some campuses and see what you like.
