I want to get rid of my fat around my stomach and love handles.should i spend more time running or doing ab workouts. i do both, just want to know what to do more of

Run Run Run!!! And do crunches every other day! You gotta get the fat off by running, then strengthen by doing the crunches!

Running will use more calories and hence burn more fat. Your body will use the fat from where its stored (love handles and tummy). Do some crunches to tone the stomach muscles, but center your workout on the running. Also drink lots of water (I know its boring, but it helps), and add more vegetables to your diet.

Both are necessary. The running will increase your overall strength and metabolism, but the ab work is obviously necessary to tighten that specific area. However if you just do ab work you are not burning enough to lose the weight. Also, diet is very important. Increase your fiber and lower your sugars and hydrogenated oils/trans fats. Good luck! ;)

Yes but it depends on how much time you are already on your work outs. You see these people on tv infomercials claiming that they made so much progress in so little time. yet they are paid fitness models. the only way you will get the fat off is work. back in the day you would see "get rich quick" commercials but now all we see are "get thing quick" commercial.

but continue doing what you are doing. you may not see result immediatley and you won't. but over time you will. and another thing, do not weigh yourself every 5 minutes as that will only distract you and put more pressure on you. you are trying to shake the fat on your stomach and love handle obliques, not look like nicole richie.

Cardio work such as running or swimming is the best way to lose fat. Doing ab work gives you strong ab muscles, but doesn't help much for losing fat. Stay with it!

I would have to say crunches and abs because they will work out more of the love handles section and give u some nice sexy abs.

You should continue to do both because they work hand in hand. Continue to run (kick it up a knotch) and do the crunches EVERYDAY. Maybe check out some new excersises that really work the area in question.

To be honest with you I'd do more running because crunches really just mess up your back and dont do much:) I would also go on a diet

good ques, running is very good for you, and make sure to kkep a straight back, if your back is straight, your core will get stronger, and youll burn more fat. crunches tone your muscle. Eat as vegitarian as possible, drink water, a lot of water, and avoid sugar (especially soda)..... youll love weight within a month...

Run, I think. Cardio activity helps to burn fat, adn abdominal workouts tone your abs.
