My ex and I still talk (MSN only). I still love him. We have been on & off for 8 years now. As soon as he logs in to msn, and I'm there, he starts talking to me, but he never calls. We always flirt. He lives one hour away, we dont get the chance to run into each other very often. I wrote him a card, wishing him the best for the new year, nothing really personnal. I am not sure if I should send it? I am kind of tired of waiting for him to make a move.

Hey it seems like you had a strong connection with that guy, there is no harm in sending a card..no harm whatsoever.
Then why dont you make that move first, maybehe is also waiting for you to make that move.
You will never know what may take place. What is the worst that can happen? He may not reply, so what, you live to see another day and send a valentine card..lol..

If he hasnt already hon dont hold your breath. He prolly is very comfy just being friends. Sure hope you can find it within yourself to move on, hard as it is. I wouldnt send it, it will just be therapy for him and he will know that you havent quite moved on.

I have bad news, it is too late.
Move on, it is over. On and off for 8 years is not good,,,if it hasnt worked by now, I cant see how it will.

if you talk to him on line then why not just wish him happy new year there..if you want him to make a move and he wont and you want to get back with him talk to him..if you cant communicate with him now then maybe you should remain ex's
