You will never know until you talk to her about it. I'm a guy and I talked to my dad about shaving and it went very well and I have been shaving ever since. Its basically the same for a guy or girl. So thats why I answered.

If your mom knows how much you care about your body image, and about looking good. I don't see why it would be a problem, but instead of shaving you could also use a hair removal product.
You apply it on where u have hair, then with a warm wet towel You remove the cream all off. It takes about 10 minutes.
I tried it. And it works, really and it's not too expensive!

Don't be embarrassed. I don't think your mom will say no. I think she might be happy for you. My mom was the one that got me shaving in the first place. I was freaked out about shaving in the beginning but now it's no problem.

I'm 13 and my mom lets me shave. I started shaving when I was....10. So, don't ask her, just do and she can find out on her own. But plz remember to use shaving cream or soap! or it can get pretty messy...
good luck!

OK, if really fell that you want to start shavin, just sit down with your mom and talk to her about it. This will make ur mom happy that you came to her in your time of need. My mom didnt care, before i needed to know who to shave she told me.
Hope it all works out

moms are always understanding, heres how you ask
say: hey mom? i would really like to start shaving, i feel like the hair on my legs is getting to be a problem, and im feeling really self conscious about it. can you please let me start shaving?
dont beg, or say: but everyone else is doing it! that thows moms off the handle! just follow the advice and its full- proof!

Just say something along the lines of 'Mom, I'm really self-conscience of my hairy legs, I'm embarressed to wear skirts. Can I start shaving my legs?'. Its not embarressing, if she says you're too young, don't leave it at that, compromise and talk to her about when you can start, suggest when you turn 12 maybe.

I just started without asking my mom :[ but after i've already started i asked my mom in the car (make sure ur not with ur dad or siblings). she said okay. as long as you know how. so i just continued doing what i was doing. its not the best solution but it probably will work. and im the same age so its probably gonna be around the same answer.

Well if you honestly need to shave then I don't think she should mind. I started when I was about 12 myself.
