hi i am 13 years old. i want another piercing on my ear, and my belly button. getting a belly button ring isnt realistic....i kno that. but i want my cartilege and my mom thinks theres something bad about that because she wont let me get it. Im a good student and i dont see the problems. Can anyone tell me the problem with it or give me some advice on "convincing her"

You need to have some older friends or older friend's moms that have cartilege and belly button piercings talk to your mom and tell her there is nothing wrong from a health standpoint. Additonally, people do not see belly button, n*pple, or lower lip piercings unless you let them so that should not be an issue either. Your mom is being strict with you.

the problem ur mum has with it is most likely that u r her baby girl (thats not an age thing my mum still sees me as that + im 18) + u r paying 2 hav someone poke pieces of metal thru ur precious body.
i wud suggest telling her y u want it (because all ur m8s hav it is possibly not the best reason here) and that u no how 2 look after it properly + it wont be seen (belly) / obvious (ear)
if this dont wrk askin 4 it as a reward always worked 4 me .. 'muuumm, if i do gud in my exams/get an a in .......... then can i get it done?
or even... 'i thought i wud ask u first as im being considerate of ur fellings + i cud always go off 2 (x town) and get it done without ur permission but can i get .... pierced
i wud try that as plan b as most parents dont like 2 be given an ultimatum so even if it cums 2 that dont b pushy or agressive be nice
