What is the best software to back up all my files from old PC before selling it?

Burn a CD or use an external drive and just copy. If both have ethernet, hook up to router and turn on sharing.

Most importantly: When you are done with your backup, download UBCD4WIN from below. This makes a bootable CD. Completely erase your hard drive using one of their utilities. You would be surprised what someone can get off an old drive - even when you dont think anything is there.

I would just go out and buy a portable USB storage system, called a stick and put all your info on there, then delete it off of old comp. They come in different GB sizes, but can generally hold a LOT of info. They are relatively easy to use, and take all the muss and fuss out of backing up information. A good manufacturer is sandisk.
