It depends on the moment .. If were being passionate I'd like him to be more passive and gentle. But if I am feeling a little kinky Id like him to be a little more assertive.. it all depends on how your feeling in the moment. i think of it somewhat is totally individual - maximum adult adult males in all probability does no longer desire a "doormat" of yesteryear yet on a similar time, an over assertive woman could be too tricky for them to handle. I prefer a man who is my equal and shows respect on a mental level but.....when we get alone, I want him to be agressive. Makes me feel more feminine and I love it when a man appears powerful and in control (in the bedroom).
