You obviously finished with your ex badly as she is still smarting - whether or not she admitted it at the time. Basically the fact that you've found another girlfriend indicates to her (your ex) that you are over her and ready to move on. This is primarily why she is so antagonistic towards you. She was 'hoping' that you'd need more time, and that you'd be in more emotional distress than she's seeing.
If she ever really cared about you, she wouldn't want you to feel hurt just to satisfy her vanity. It sounds to me like you made the right decision!

It sounds to me that she is still angry with you so wants to make you look bad to your new girlfriend.I wouldn't exactly say she is jealous. I would more say she is just not wanting you to be happy so She is trying to make you seem like she knows something about you that this new girl doesn't.
