It will end up throwing her metabolism out of whack. Her body will think that it is starving and slow down.

Not a safe nor good diet. Think of your body as an engine, it needs food as fuel. Anything you want could be anything from a candy bar & cola to eggs, bacon, toast & orange juice. Even with eggs, ect. that food wears off through out the day and you need another meal then another. This sounds close to a "crash" diet and they are unhealthy. They can lead to sleeping disorders, eating disorders and are dangerous. Your gf needs to see a physcian and tell him/her about this. If she wants to lose weight (if that's the reason for the diet), her doctor can give her a list of what to eat and how much, make a menu from this list. Also exercise will help. You don't want her to get sick, tell her she needs to eat. Hop all goes well ... Good Luck.

Definately not safe at all! She is not getting all her daily nutrition in just one meal! What diet is she on? I'VE NEVER heard of a diet that only lets you eat in the morning!

NO! That is called starving yourself and she is going to screw up her metabolism! You need to eat but, eat healthy and small portions. She'd actually lose more weight if she would eat 5 or 6 times per day and small meals! That keeps your metabolism working all day and burning food. Also, has she heard of exercise? Another good way to lose weight. Eating one meal per day is not a diet, it is starvation. Not trying to be harsh, just honest :)

It may not seem bad in the short term but in the long term it is unhealthy. The body needs food throughout the day. Without it, towards the evening, your girlfriend will feel lethargic and sleepy.

if you want to be weak and fat that would be a great way to go about it...
the human body does not have the storage capacity for many nutrients. this is why it is optimum to consume many smaller meals over the course of the day. eating one meal a day will also reek havoc on your endocrine system.
