Confidence is the realization that your hard work, experience, and knowledge of the subject will give you a probability of success. Confidence is not something you can hypnotize yourself into feeling. For sanity and success, confidence must be based on reality.

When giving a briefing or even discussing a subject with a friend, if you have done your homework in researching what you are talking about, you will have self confidence.

Don't memorize methods of having self confidence, spend that valuable time "actually" learning a lot of information.

When you know a lot of information about something, you have more confidence. Its not a trick. Its just the way it is.

Learn and know that for all the characteristics you have that you share with all humans, you are truly unique and have your own special gifts that only you have. Develop your strengths and do not feel too bad about your limitations. Find one habit that you don't like having and work on not having it anymore. After accomplishing a few things your confidence will gain building blocks to realizing more and more of your potential.

i think that just by asking you have helped yourself, as you were willing to put it out there, and i only can share with you that which i myself experianced and maybe it could help you ,, i first took baby steps by doing little projects that i knew i could finish and i could look back at and see that ya i was able to not only do it but stuck with it till it was done.and i would practice being assertive in small things also that i knew i could hold my ground, and it didnt take long at all before the projects completed and my small victories of situations where i was firm or assertive ,that instead of looking back now at things i didnt like about myself i noow had a recent history of memories that made me feel more self confident and my imago was healing nicely ,, well i am confident you will find your confidence and start liking who you are aguynameDANA

Pretend for a while that you are a self confident person...if you just pretend it long enough, it will actually start to become true.

The Bible is fully inspired by God so know that He does not merely want you to be confident in yourself. He actually wants you to give him your entire heart -- that's why Jesus dying on the Cross was so significant. Wikihow.
