Is the Stig from top gear Stig Blonquist ex rally driver?

I think it is my ex girlfriend she had a mapped and chipped BMW 525i and drove like the stig and looked a bit like him too cos she had a face like his crash helmet but I have got too admit she was a very fast + safe driver she did have lessons at the Nuremberg ring race school but my ex is German so her choice of car was a bit strange there was talk of a Turbo charger at one time but I convinced her that it was too costly and in Germany any alterations have to be covered in a mountain of very costly paperwork !!

it used to be Perry McCarthy,but now it is mixture of drivers that do The Stig.
