Technically, all handguns are accurate and you just have to train to be able to hit the target always for application in real life in case shooting will be inevitable. Glock 21, 22 and 233 are good guns as well as Caliber .45 pistols.

The Glock 21 is a .45cal The glock 22/23 are both .40cal. Personally I like the 23 which is the compensated (smaller) version of the Glock 22. The 23 model still uses a 13 round magazine. The glock 21 is a bit large for me but it depends on what caliber you prefer. The .40 cal was designed to give the portability of a 9mm and the stopping power of a .45. The glock has always been a good handgun as far as out of the box accuracy. My glock 23 has the night sights which are a very good recommendation for protection. The glock 22, and 23 will have less of a recoil kick than the model 21. But personally the model 22 or 23 will provide ample protection for you. The glock does not have a mechanical manual operator actuated safety so extra caution needs to be taken with the glock, but for personal protection not having a safety to fumble with especially in the dark is a huge plus.

The difference between the Glocks you cited is size and caliber. They all have the same Glock trigger action. Most top line handguns are more accurate than most shooters, only very very good shooters can notice a difference. To choose a gun first take a shooting safety class, then spend some time at a range where you can rent different guns and try them out. Your hand size, body strength, mechanical aptitude, and whether you want power and high ammunition capacity vs concealability all factor into which is the best gun for you Oh and join the NRA, do your part to keep guns legal

The numbers on a Glock merely tell you what size it is. There is the full frame, sub-compact, and compact. The 21 is a full size, the 22 is a sub compact, and the 23 is a compact. It is all a matter of which one fits your hand the best and feels most comfortable. I carry a Glock for my duty weapon, and I really like it. Glock "owns" about 85% of the law enforcement market, mostly because their guns are very easy to operate, fieldstrip, clean, and re-assemble. If you are looking for a top-notch firearm for accuracy, there is only one name to know: SIG. A SIG is by far the most accurate firearm made. The action is incredibly smooth, and less recoil than any other firearm. It will set you back a few bucks, but it's like anything else, you get what you pay for.

I own a full size Glock Model 22 in .40 S&W caliber, and the gun is one super gun. Out of the box it placed all of my shots within the 8 ring on a silhouette target at about 35 Ft, with most of the hits in the 9 ring. There are other polymer framed guns similar to the Glock, but I think Glock is the way to go. If you want, check into the new S&W M&P semiauto pistols in 9mm, and .40 S&W caliber. They run about $500 plus tax. Springfield Armory makes a similar gun in the XD series for about the same price.

Some guns are easier to shoot than others but it's the operator who truly determines accuracy.
I don't like Glock cuz it is so light.. I prefer a heavier gun which makes it easier For me.
Go to a shooting range where you can try out several guns and take some lessons- they are worth it. Don't forget you'll need to devote adequate time to practice otherwise a gun is not for you.

Putting the safety on the trigger is like engraving the combination on the door of the safe. If you must have a double-action, H&K's are nice, but nothing yet is really superior to the good ole' 1911-style single action. Pick what you want.
