Of course. Most mothers do, even today. Health care wasn't all that great back then, even for someone fortunate enough to be born into royalty, let alone someone like Jesus, born to a carpenter and his young wife. If the Gospels of Matthew and Luke are correct, Jesus wasn't born in a top-notch neonatal facility.

I do hope so. It's wonder-full gazing down upon a newborn and marveling in the wee miracle in your arms. That would apply to all new babies, not just Jesus! And as she gazed upon him, I also hope she brought him to her breast and nursed him with love.

like it all the comparable, yet in all probability could have the extra desirable digit bumped off, and it may generally be completed by using means of tying a string around the backside of the extra desirable digit and finally that is going to fall off

Probably silently, to herself. I think it's something all mothers and fathers do.
SHe probably also nursed Him, though that's not in Scripture.

She also thought (but kept to herself) "He looks just like lovely Gabriel".
