It is interesting that those that are born again usually find God in a moment of weakness or need...
Forgive those that claim they were perfectly content prior to being born again - they are lying more to themselves than to you. Seems everyone that has responded so far was content when they found God....you tell me who is faking it....

I was content.... it was not until I found Jesus though that I realized my own contentment was not in accordance with God's plan for mankind. I was living for self, now I'm living for Jesus. Sure I stumble and fall; sin; but I get up ask forgiveness and try to live my life following the Bible (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth), not man's ways.

Yes, I was content with my life to a certain point but I knew that something was missing and I wanted that void filled so I accepted Christ into my life and found peace and contentment . The Bible also tells us that if we want to go to heaven "we must be born again".These are Words from Jesus to Nicodemus who was a ruler of the Jews.

I didn't choose Jesus he choose me for his own good pleasure /I was perfectly happy drinking and drugging ,sleeping around and living outside the will of God .I really was under a deceiving spirit that told me all is alright and I could live with out God in my life ,/But one day I touched the hyme of his garment and never have been the same .How anybody could not be in love with the Man from Galilee is a mystery to me .

I was a very happy teen who enjoyed life very, very much, So much I never wanted it to end. It is partly the reason I when looking for the truth of how I could live forever. God answered my question of how I could have everlasting life. I invited Jesus Christ into my heart and now my life is rich beyond all I could have hoped for. I look forward to living with God forever.

I would say I am one. I was perfectly happy.
However, that being said, do you know anyone that does not have personal problems. My experience in life has been that there are two types of people in the world. Those that are screwed up and admit it and those that are screwed up and refuse to admit it.
It is a small wonder you see people whose lives were a wreck. Now, just because my life was a wreck, that does not mean that I was not perfectly happy.

I was happy & content.
I didn't flee to Christ in order to have a happy life. I fled to Christ because I realized that I was a sinner under the righteous wrath of a holy God & would be subject to an eternal Hell for my sins.

Yeah, I did. A lot of people are so caught up with themselves and living their life and doing what they wanna do, that they dont turn to God until they have nothing left. However, if you realize earlier on that life isnt all about you and that youre part of a bigger reality, then its not hard to find God in a happy place. :)

I agree with this. You hit rock bottom. Then you either choose Jesus or something worse for yourself.
