My family live in Barbados. I'm thinkin of movng there. I've always known i will be single , but i cannot bear the thought of living so close to the man im in love with. Not sure what to do for the best???? Tell him or just leave??

He's single and lives in the UK. We met at university and have always been friends. It developed into more about 2 months ago, but he just wanted sex. i lime him alot more so i said no but now im missing him.. just dont kno what to do...????

Could it be that this man is married and he lives there with his wife?
No matter whether that is the case or not, for some reason it is clear that you can't be with this man so unfortunately, and as hard as it seems you have to get on with your life and accept this. If you do move to Barbados do you have to live very close to this man - I know communities out there are very close-knit,but you must involve yourself in activities which will not bring you into a lot of contact with him.
Why move back to Barbados, why not concentrate on building on the life you have got now. Are you really thinking of going back for the right reasons - or just to be near this man.
If you do move back there is no guarantee that he is really like you are imagining him to be - distance and memories sometimes can distort the true picture.
Without more details it is difficult for anyone to really give you good advice. You must do what you honestly think is the best, but don't dwell on what you can't have, focus on what you can

honey if you want to leave anyway then you have nothing to lose by telling him.Maybe dont say you love him but say you care about him and want something more,like to start dating him.\the worst thing that can happen is that he will say no but at least you will know that you tried.I know that its easy to give up on love and hope and to stop yourself from wanting any happiness but your heart and your head are two different things.Your head is telling you to stop wanting someone special but your heart cant be altered.And you cant ignore your heart forever.Give yourself that chance when it comes along.You can still be careful and prepare yourself for the worst,but believe in yourself that if he says no it most probably not because of you but perhaps he jus doesnt want to have a relationship.Hope this helps.

Tell him, you'd regret it otherwise...if nothing happens after that at least you know you've tried. Would you still move to barbados if he felt the same way....?
