My daughters will be turning 4 yo and 6 yo in the next couple of months.
Barbie & the 12 Dancing Princesses stuff is hot right now.
My Little Ponies are always a hit.
Polly Pockets are also very popular.
Dora the Explorer and Diego are big hits too.

My daughter (turning 6 next month) loves anything artsy she can create. Michaels Crafts Store, Joanns, Target, Walmart and many other stores sell great kits of beads to make bracelets, foam stamps, scrapbooking kits, art and drawing, window paints, etc. Those things are all inexpensive and fun for little girls; gets them using their imagination.

Try a gift card little girls love them. This way she can pick out whatever she wants. My daughter loves them she calls it her credit card. lol
