i got highlights which will soon grow out and look kinda trashy.. so i think instead of re-touching because when i highlighted it, my mom did it so much that it seeped down to the inner layer of my hair so if i just retouch, ill have roots growing frome the inside layer of my hair..soo....ill just dye it with one of those over the counter ones you can get at like the supermarket with the nice conditioners..but i dont know wich color. im a natural dark brown.

you so young to dye it continuously that will harm your hair
so i think you can back it to it's natural color that's make you enjoy with healthy hair to longer time even the highlights looks beautiful on you
and when you move in age you can dye it blond cause that will be fit on you but not now ,so keep you hair healthy to that time
and use GARNIER color dyes when you back it to brown cause it contain natural oils so less harm full and last for long time and can hidden the highlight

Dye it back to your original colour. Other wise you will just have to keep re-dying it and it will come expensive and will dry out your hair. If you really want a change try going blondish with lots of highlights. Be careful to take all the colour out of your hair first thought otherwise it will just go orange!!! I think you suit the way your hair is at the moment so don't change it too much

what you need to do if your highlights are grown out and if you wanna change your hair is this.....Dont put any tint over your highlight....You need to have your Mom go to a beauty supply house and have her buy a hair filler...a filler is a semi or demi color that is put on your hair for 15-20 mins Dont wash out towle dry...Then go a head with your choice of color that your base color of your roots are this will bring your hair back to the way it was before you got your highlights...So if you decied to get new highlight you just saved your mother a ton of money for doing the coloring process your self...like i said its really easy to do....Just dont buy any more tints in a box there bad for your hair every time you use a b ox color your putting metal salts in it.good luck hunnie
