It sounds like he may not know what he wants at this time. If you care for him, don't push it. Enjoy each other and relax.
Time will tell if you are truly meant to be. You would rather have him ready and willing to marry, rather than feeling "pushed".
For now, enjoy him, he's crazy about ya! : )

He doesn't like long relationships?
If he said this seriously, then maybe you should put off marrying him for a while.
Don't take this to lightly, talk to him about it, in a serious way.
If he dumps you a little while after your married, and you never forgive yourself, then you'll end up an old cat lady.
Not that cat ladies aren't cool, but maybe you should talk with him!!
Good Luck!

Well first off you should be happy that he is honest with you. It would be a lot worse if he was doing this behind your back. Typical case of a man in love with 2 women. He wants his cake and to eat it too. I think the 2 of you do have a chance, it sounds like you are incredibly close and that he loves you (but not exclusively) He wants you and he wants her too. That is incredibly painful for you and I am sorry you have to go through this.

First, even if you could change his mind, why would you want to? Do you want to be with a man who wants to be WITH you? Long-term? If he's already told you he doesn't like long term relationships, and yet he wants to marry you -- well, that's contradictory and I wouldn't even go there if I were you. You deserve much better than that.

What he's doing is called double talk. If your not old enough to jump from a short term relationship to marriage with him, then DUMP HIM cause he's using you. That's my opinion from what I read here.
Good Luck and Happy New Year to you~~~

The only person you can control is YOU. Maybe he means he wants to be married instead of just dating.Did you ask him?
