how do you explain that muslims will judge christians according to the qur'an, and that their charity burned away, if zakat is 2.5 percent? Zakat is not LESS than what christians give, dear people, you must be better than christians if you wanna judge them and NO WAY that zakat is 2.5 percent.

yeah right, 2.5 percent for the needy, and the rest for mosquees, while the qur'an says that god doesn't need no house (like the bible does). who do you think needs the money....what's going on with this world, I really wonder. The christians only read the verses that they dislike, the muslims don't even follow the qur'an, and they're not willed to talk to each other (like the qur'an says too. It doesn't only say don't be friends with christians, it also condones that those two or three (and the jews) are not friends. JERUSALEM, what's in your hearts that you behave in such a way? You should all listen to madonna "can we get together?"

Then you tell us...what is a zakat if not 2.5 percent. And tell us where you got the information. And what is the point you are trying to make? Do you think someone here on earth should be judging others? God will judge all. He doesn't need our opinion about who is righteous and who is not. God knows who are His.

I had also heard 2.5%. But, this is for the needy. Other money is given to support mosques, religious schools, etc.,.
