When I have a bad cold I like to eat chicken noodle soup and saltine crackers and drink hot lemon juice. If I have the stomach flu or something similar that makes me feel nauseous, if I have any sort of appetite at all, the only thing I can stomach is cheeseburgers and french fries from McDonald's. Weird, I know, lol.

Well if your sick with a cold the best thing to do is drink lots of fluids.
have some chicken noodle soup home made is best.
If your throat is sore the best home remedy is to get some fresh garlic, and eat a piece raw. It will burn but not bad, all its really doing is burning the infection out. It will only burn for 20sec.
It really works I had strep throat and ate the garlic and the next day i woke up and my throat was healed.

Tomato soup with bacon sandwiches on white bread. Dip the sandwiches in the soup to remove the dryness in your mouth. Good for hangovers and colds. Drinks wise put some real lemon juice and honey in a cup and pour boiling water over it. Sweet and bitter and clears your nose.

No matter if I'm sick, I'll always pig out. My mom would always take me to Hometown Buffet if I was able to walk. I love mashed potatoes and gravy, turkey.
But if I'm really really sick.. I'll usually just go with ramen (creamy chicken) or chicken and stars. Soup always clears my congestion (for atleast a little while) and makes my throat feel better.

Campbell's Chicken and Stars with crackers and sprite. Chicken and stars is just like chicken noodle, but you don't have to worry about the noodles falling off of your spoon!!

If it's flu or a cold, anything spicy, any soup, lemon-honey juice.
If it's an upset stomache, gingersnaps or ginger tea.
