I'm assuming you're talking about pounds, not kilograms here. So that's about 81kg now, and would like to be 54? 54 is very light for your height. The standard measurement for calculating your correct height to weight ratio is called Body Mass Index (BMI). BMI is only a guide and changes slightly from person to person depending on your genetics, but it's helpful as a starting point. Your BMI right now is 26.4, which is only *slighlty* on the big side. If you got down to 54kg, your health may be adversely affected by reduced immune response and other undesirables. It's too light for your height, unless you are a distance athlete (like a marathon runner, and even they have problems sometimes). Probably the lowest you should go is 62kg (136lbs). But don't take my word for it, talk to a doctor if you're unsure.
The hard part is getting there, which is not so hard if you are patient and disciplined. Start by reducing sugar. It's addictive so the less you eat each day, the easier it will become. Start a little exercise every day. It doesn't have to be much, 1/2 an hour is fine. Join a walking or running group if you find it hard to motivate yourself. Eat a little less of things you know are unhealthy, but don't skip meals. You'll end up famished and cave in to junk food. Make any of these changes part of a long term plan and expect to stick to it long term and i'm sure you'll achieve your goal. Good luck!

First of all 120 for your height is way too skinny. If you want to lose weight, think about joining weight watchers. They will teach you how to eat healty and do so for the rest of your life. Using diet pills and drinking vinegar water won't keep you going forever! Start now at 16 and learn how to eat so you don't feel like you are starving yourself. I did weight watchers last year and lost 20lbs. It was not that hard. Also, weight watchers will help you find a healthy weight for your size. Don't screw up your body while your young by yoyo dieting or starving yourself! You'll kick yourself for it later! TRUST ME! Do it right now, and then you'll set yourself up for a lifestyle change.
Also, exercise 30min per day at least 5 days a week, start small. Start with 10mins 3 days a week and increase. Do anything that raises your heart rate, running, walking, hiking, swimming, biking, etc.. Mix it up too so you won't get bored and quit. Also, weight training is great. Low weights and high repetitions. The more muscle you have the more fat you burn, even when you are sitting on the couch!!

A diet is a temporary solution and once you stop your diet you will gain the weight back and probably mor eon top of that. The best thing to do is to change your lifestyle and the way you think about food and exercise permanently.
Here are a few lifestyle changes you can make that are things you can do forever that will make a difference.
1. Find a method of exercise that you like. If you don't enjoy going to the gym, then that is not the exercise type for you because you won't stick to it. I was one of those people that just did not enjoy the gym. So, I got a dog and I walk him two blocks three times a day. It's good exercise for him and me and since I have to take him out to pee, it's a great exercise that doesn't feel like exercise. This is just an exampleof a kind of exercise that is enjoyable rather than something that you will not stick to.
2. Find healthy foods that you like and permanently substitute them for unhealthy foods. I really like peanuts which are much better for you than chips so now I always go to the grocery store and buy peanuts instead of chips as part of my weekly grocery buy. Simply cutting out a big of chips from your daily eating habits can do so much.
3. Learn to cook. This helps for a couple of reasons (a) you can control your portion size and you can control what types of oils and ingredients go into what you like (b) it is a proven fact that if you cook something, you will not eat as much of it which also cuts down on calories (c) you can cook healthier meals that you enjoy.....this will help you save money too because eating out is expensive
4. Cut out anywhere with a drive thru window. I made a promise to myself that I would only allow myself to eat from anywhere with a drive thru window on the 1st and 15th of the month. It allows me to have those things every once in a while but it helped me to eliminate my french fry and burger craving while also allowing me to have those things every once in a while
5. Eat a healthy breakfast. I know it sounds strange to say that in order to achieve a healthy weight that you should eat breakfast but it is very true. If you start the day with a bagel and orange juice you will be amazed at the amount of energy you have during the day
6. Don't eat late at night. I made a vow to never eat after 8pm...I don't care how hungry I think I am and that makes a lot of difference.
The main thing is do not go on some diet that won't last, make lifestyle changes and you will see a permanent impression on your weight and your health for your entire life.
Additional little things you can do are:
1. Park in the back of parking lots so that you get that little bit of extra walking to the store or building you are going to
2. Make a list before you go to the grocery store and stick to that list
3. When you eat out, leave 1/4 of the food on your plate...restaurants always give you way more food than you actually need
4. Do not eat if you are not hungry. Learn to realize when you are eating out of boredom or habit and when you are eating out of hynger.
5. Maintain a consistent calorie intake daily so your body will know what it has to live on....For me, that is 1200-1300 calories...for you it may be different
6. Don't deprive yourself...if you are depriving yourself then you are setting yourself up to fail
Good Luck!

Take a 1 - 1 1/2 hour walk 3-5 days per week and try to avoid white pasta, rice, and bread (or anything that's a "bad carb"). I did this and lost about 30 lbs in 18 months. You should try it!
