Alright, I am indeed an alcholic so no need for "Stop drinking" posts...not going to happen.

So my question is, if I am going to drink daily...would it be better for me and my beer-belly to drink a few glasses of vodka instead of 7-10 beers?

It's like you are a long lost brother or something. Drink vodka and soda, it's the lowest calorie drink there is.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

you mean to ask witch is the lesser of the two evils? i would have to say that beer is so fatening .you know that and vodka is so hard on the liver and esopogus.but i think a since cognac,or a very low carb beer would be better.i am a beer drinker and i have cut that carb count out by half and have lost weight by drinking a low carb beer, not all lite beers are low in carbs, bud select has only 4 carbs and taste real good good luck.

Vodka is a good alternative to beer. I did the same thing and it worked for me. My choice of drinks are:

Grey Goose and Cranberry juice with a lime twist.
Vodka Martini
Vodka and Soda with a twist.

oh, no.
alcohol of any sort will add to your gut.
vodka is worse on your liver.
try excercising & drinking water.
why not try a good psychologist; maybe you can figure out why you drink & stop.
