I am curious. The stores can't sell dented cans or damaged boxes. Is there a place in the Kansas City/ Olathe area that sells them at a discount? Please let me know.

Alright for you not so smart people. Just because it is dented, doesnt mean its spoiled. Grocery stores are not allowed to sell dented cans. It may still have 6 months to a year before it goes bad, they still can't sell it. Ok. Now no more stupid answers.

There used to be a railroad salvage place that sold bent and dented cans. It was in NKC but I can't tell you the name or location since I haven't been over there in years. Check in the Yellow Pages though.

There is a place, not sure exactly where, called Cargo Largo. They sell food, clothing, electronics, that sellers have rejected because they aren't visually apealing (scratches, dents, dropped etc.) They are at quite a discount and you can find almost anything there.

I have been to the Hen House at College and Antioch in Overland Park before and they have a cart of damaged goods when you walk in next to the carts. I have seen it there more than once, so they do it often.

I never visit or live in Kansas City/ Olathe area.
Look in your phone book for grocery stores and check likely candidates (i.e. not any major chain stores).
