I am looking for a guy right now, and I am not really sure what to overly go for. I mean I like athletes, but it always seems like they are the stuck up ones.
Any ideas? and For the guys, what do you look for haha?

What's funny is u usually end up with those that u wouldn't normally pick. I picked taller, muscular yet real trim guys and my bf is the same height as me, stocky buy very muscular *great shape*, yet he wasn't when we met. Right now i am looking for a girl who i can just really click with. One thats not a brat and doesnt complains a lot. One thats not worried about every little thing and can be strong. I went out with a this cheerleader for 2 years in highschool and it really helped me to know exactly what i didnt want in a girl. I think its attractive when a girl is just herself around you tehn you feel comfortable and guys would rather approach a girl who likes who they are. You should find a guy thats more mature and could take care of you dont be picky but its alright to find someone good looking and athletic there not all stuck up.

Well as a guy, I look for confidence first. I also look for street smarts / common sense / social awareness. I know the second part is a bit tricky to explain.
Do you remember the Jessica Simpson comment about the "chicken of the sea" on her show? Is it chicken or tuna? Yeah thats the opposite of what I meant in the second part.
Most importantly, be yourself at all time. If you put on an act for first impressions, what will he think when he really gets to know you over time?

I am older and well experienced. Go for a guy who is friendly and who tries to get your attention. Someone who is neat about his appearance, has manners, and is sociable and respective to your friends and families. Athletic types are out for the compitition and as soon as you win him over, he will be looking for the next game.
Guys want a nice figure on a women (sorry, but they notice that first), also they want a women with a smile and personality. After a date or two, they hate a women who is stuck up or stuck on herself.

Honey if you feel you "need" a guy then what you actually need is therapy. A need is something we cannot live without (and we can all live without a guy or gal in our lives).
If you want a guy, that's different...but be careful. People on boy/girlfriend hunts often make poor choices because they tend to settle for the first person they meet that "will do".
The best method is to live your life, be happy with who you are and what you've got going on, and see who crosses your path. It tends to happen that when we aren't looking for a partner, someone wonderful in that respect comes into our lives.

i look for nice a*s, hot body, long hair, and a kind attitude. and they are good singers with a voice that doesn't squeak. no make up. it covers up their real looks (okay, maybe some lip stick every now and then), and likes u for who you are.
tips: try to find a guy that has a good personality and try to avoid the stuck up ones.

I think you shouldn't be on the hunt for a man, and just let nature do its thing. Go out with a bunch of different guys. And if you dont like them, at least its free food! :o)

Go for the chubby guys like me. Of course that would be my opinion. I go for girls that have a similar build to me (a little bit chubby)
