No. Even if the microwave started the cooking process, the meat should still smell like meat. I'd say your roast is rancid. Toss it and start over. Maybe a nice piece of fish.

nope. read the manual for your microwave...remove plastic wrap, and defrost for a longer period of time, at a lower % of power. ie; 30 minutes at 20-30 % power. you also have to check the meat and rotate it during the process. hope this was helpful.

no it should not be bad. Just be sure to cook it thruly.It's happened to me and I cooked the meat it should be just fine. But next time try to defrost it in hot water next time it takes a little longer but it looks and smells better to!!
