yes but you have to be picked. Most plastic surgeons only do about 5 cases a year. Also they tend to choose the most severe.

There are surgeons who do all kinds of pro bono work including plastic surgeons. The thing is you have to be "picked" to be a patient. Here we have a news guy that goes out and talks to folks needing surgery or whatever and then he hooks them up with the doctors who do the work for free. Good luck!

I think it would be hard. I wouldnt ask someone who was still training to 'practice on you' as that would be dangerous. I have not heard of surgeons who do work pro bono, the only thing I can think of is if you appled to go on a plastic surgery makeover television show. Other than that I think it would cost although it may be possible to get it subsidised by health insurance/ health care.

There are a few, but I wouldn't know where you could contact them. I've seen reports of surgeons helping burn victims, especially in cases of burns leaving a patient with disfunctions of fingers, hands, etc. You should contact the surgeons in your area and ask them if they can help you. Keep in mind that, even if you get the surgeon to work for free, the hospital will still cost a small fortune. You'll have to work through the hospitals to see if you can get them to provide free services as well.
Best of luck to you!

Not that I know of. You may want to see if there's a medical school in your area. That way some of the plastic surgery interns can get some experience........they may do that pro bono. Best of luck to you.
