Darlin that's an awful lot of weight to lose in such a short amount of time. The reason your still hungry is you're not eating enough your body needs enough fuel to burn calories and an 100 calorie pack and water is just not enough to get nutrtion. There are diet shakes that don't taste too bad,a really good lunch would be tuna with a little mayo in a whole wheat wrap with some bell pepper or cucumber and tomato or a salad with grilled chicken.A good dinner chicken ,green beans ,salad, whole wheat pasta with tomato sauce brown rice with steak. Do your parents know what your up to?Remember your 13 your body is still growing. I'm really worried that your not getting enough nutrtion and really think you should talk to your mom or doctor or even school nurse.I'm also concerned about your self esteem your a young woman before anything else and all women no matter how big smal short tall red head brunette whateverare beautiful just because they ARE women. Please be careful and talk to an adult about this

I'm not sure you'll be able to lose 60 pounds in that time; 40 is a more reasonable estimate--you should only lose 1-2 pounds per week.
The exercise is a great idea, but it sounds like your nutritional choices need some help.
You need to eat more protein. It will help you feel satisfied and less hungry throughout the day. Try having a few almonds or a piece of turkey bacon or lean chicken in the morning for breakfast.
100 calorie packs are not intended for weight loss--they're still snacks, just lower calorie ones. You need to eat something more nutritious. Try having a little chicken and some grapes or an apple. If you want a sandwich, make it with whole-wheat, lower sugar bread (Sara Lee makes a healthier sliced bread called Delightful Wheat). Drink plenty of water; it will help you feel fuller.
Vegetable broth is good for you, but that can't be all you have. Eat raw vegetables in a salad, and try lean meats. Stay away from biscuits--it might not seem like it, but they are much higher in calories than almost any other bread product.
You need to maintain proper nutrition while you are losing weight, or you will gain it all back, so make sure to eat solid, healthy food. Don't ignore your body when you feel hungry--eating smaller meals more often will help raise your metabolism.
Something else you could try would be to keep a little notebook (the tiny memo size) and write down everything you eat every day, plus how many calories it is. Ask your doctor what the total for a girl your age should be.

It's not OK for you to lose 60 lbs in 4 months. I understand where your coming from but that's just not healthy. A healthy amount to lose is 2-3 lbs per week. Don't try to starve yourself because it will only have the reverse effect and cause you to gain weight. I have lost weight using weight watchers and it really works. It's not a diet but a change in life and eating habits. The main thing is to have a well balanced diet with fruit, veggies, protein, dairy and carbs. When wanting to lose weight eat six small meals per day. It's not so much a meal between the real meals but a healthy snack which will in turn cause your metabolism to increase which will help you lose weight. Also make sure that your drinking at least 8 8-ounce glasses of water a day. This will also help. Good luck and hope this helps.

All I know is that if I don't let myself eat after 7 and go running at night for 2 half an hour periods so I won't want to eat helped me lose 15 pounds in the first month, definetly recommend it.
I was the same way you are I started out the day really healthy but by the end of the day I'd be starving and eat a TON! don't buy into fad diets. Eat a balanced meal every day, you can eat a WHOLE banana, especially if it prevents you from junking out later. Eat more and healthier earlier in the day and then just don't eat at all at night.

The way you are attempting to lose weight right now is NOT sustainable. You can't live the rest of your life by eating 100 calories for lunch and vegetable broth for dinner. You need to slow it down here a bit, and instead of focusing on losing 60 pounds in 4 months so you can be "hot," start thinking about your long-term health and take smaller, more sustainable steps towards a lifetime of healthier choices.
If you starve yourself, the way it sounds like you are doing right now, your body will respond by holding onto your body fat as tightly as it can -- which is NOT what your goal here is! You should aim for about 1500 calories a day and try not to get below about 1200 a day. Eat lots of fruits, veggies, whole grains, and lean protein (chicken, turkey, fish, e.g.). You may find it works better to eat six small meals instead of three bigger ones, so that you are putting something in your stomach every 3 or 4 hours and not letting yourself get so hungry you overeat out of desperations.
You'll need to step up your exercise program as well, by increasing the intensity and duration of your walks (don't just stick with 30 minute walks -- add some short jogging time in there (say, one minute of jogging for every five minutes of walking) and start working up to 45-60 minutes every day instead of just 30). You also should add strength training (hand-weights, yoga, Pilates -- you can learn how to do these from books or videos at your local public library). The more muscle mass you have, the more calories you will burn even when you are just sitting still!
The important thing should not be whether or not you look "hot" -- by focusing on a goal like that, you're sabotaging yourself from the start. Sure, you could starve yourself and lose that weight that fast -- but as soon as you quit starving yourself, you'll gain it ALL BACK.
Take it slow and start making small lifestyle changes -- more daily exercise, healthier and well-balanced eating -- and you can lose weight and keep it off for good.
You might consider asking your parents if they would take you to see a nutritionist. Or, if you have about $12-15/month you could spend, you might think about joining Weight Watcher's online program, which a lot of people I know have used very successfully.
Good luck!

Being 27 years old and weight almost 230 IBS. I know what your going through and the reason I say that is because I was around that when I was 13 but back then I didn't care to try to lose it and I was depressed and hurt so I would turn to food for comfort. Now I know that wasn't the way to go. It wasn't until I met my husband that I decided I was going to do something about it. I didn't know that there was a man out there as caring as he is because he loves me for me and I was almost 22 years old. Anyways I'm here to tell you that if you don't do anything about it now while your young it will be harder for you when your older. You'll have to give up your favorite fatty foods like chips and candy but it's worth it. If you turn to food for comfort when you get your feelings hurt you should turn to exercising instead. I found that by doing that I not only burn fat but I also unleach the anger I have for that person who hurt my feelings and I feel so much better. Your doing good by eating a bowl of low fat or no fat cereal and a half of a bananna for breakfast but you don't have to starve yourself for lunch a half of a sandwich and a fruit would be good. Don't forget the water that will make you feel fool up and help you lose that fat. Don't drink a lot of soda's. I only drink a glass of diet sierra mist a day. Don't forget that exercising would really help. Don't turn to food when you get bored I learned that the hard way instead turn to excerising. When you eat dinner eat a small amount. The most important thing you can do is don't starve yourself and don't push it. If you follow these steps you can lose a good amount by your gradation. I wish I would of lost it when I was your age because now I'm struggling and now that I'm older it's harder. If you need a support buddy you can always email me because I know what your going through. You will beable to look good for your graduation if you follow these steps and if you keep doing them by the time you enter high school you'll be looking really good that the guys will be wistling and wanting to go out with you. That would be a good reward there. Don't let anyone tell you that your not pretty because it doesn't matter what you look like on the outside it's on the inside that counts the most. Please do yourself a favor and do something about it now while your young. I wish I had but all I can do is advise it for other young females who are overweight to do it while they are young because the older you get the harder it gets and take it from me I am living proof of that.

You need to eat a balanced diet, as you are still growing, this is very important. Lots of fruits and vegetables. Cut out the sugar, and cut down on bread and potatoes. 3-4 oz. of meat/protein with each meal. And lots of exercise. 30 min a day isn't going to do it. Walking is great for general exercise, but you need 30 min of hard cardio every day. It will not be easy, but if you want it bad enough, you can do it. Also, it sounds like losing 80lbs may be too much. Talk to your doctor or the school nurse about a realistic goal weight.

What I would do is go to the library and get the Atkins diet book. It will give you sample meals.
If you are unable to get to the library, this is what I would do......
Breakfast - 2 eggs - omit 1 egg yoke
snack - 2 slices of lunch meat
lunch - low-fat cottage cheese and a piece of fruit
OR
4 slices of lunch meat and a piece of fruit
snack - sugar free pudding
dinner - a piece of meat the size of the palm of your hand & a serving of veggies or a salad loaded with veggies make sure you use a low fat low sugar dressing if you do a salad.
Drink water lots and lots of water 10 to 12 glasses a day.
The key is to not eat any bread, rice, pasta..... you want to eat good carbs that are in fruit and veggies.
Plus you need to excersise. Go and walk or get a richard simmons video. what is nice about his videos is you can make it high impact (jump around a lot) or low impact
Good luck Hun!!!! I know you can do this I lost a ton of weight doing this type of diet and have kept it off for 3 years. .
If you follow this you can lose 60 lbs in 4 to 5 months.

If you try hard enough you can lose at least 2 pounds per week. Vegetables are good. If you are really overweight you should try a nutritionist. Weightwatchers is also great. A banana has tons of sugar so I don't recomend it.A multi-vitamin is important because on diets people tend to "leave out" certain. Ice also helps cut cravings and a lot of water. Hope this helped!

First of all I want to point something out to you, you need to eat more for lunch. If you are still hungry then you aren't eating enough and when you don't eat enough, what little your body does get in fat from that food (both good and bad fats) is held because your body thinks that it's going to starve. Try bringing healthy things like an apple or some cellery sticks or a salad. Cellery is great because since it has no real substance to it, while it does fill you up, and it tastes good too, it burns more calories to digest it and chew it than it gives to your body. Weight loss is all about how many calories you take in (as well as a few other things) as compared to how many your are putting out.
Do you have a treadmill at home? Try walking on that. If you live in a safe neighborhood then try running around your block until you get tired, and then go for one more time. Also, set reasonable goals. Instead of thinking "I have to loose sixty lbs. by may" say things such as "I want to loose (this many) lb(s) this week." Don't stress yourself out to loose all that weight in such a short ammount of time. Stress aids in weight gain as well.
Vegetable broth for supper is NOT enough. Just because you want to loose weight is not stop eating, just watch what you are putting into your body.
Stick to your goals, just because you have one bad day, and you may have many bad days, doesn't mean you have to give up.
The biggest thing I can think of for you is more exercise, and portion contol. Drink milk (unless you can't) and lots of water, also eat as much fruit and as many vegetables as you can. Limit red meat, like steak and hamburger. And this next part is what always makes me sad. No chips, no excessive ammounts of salt, no fast food, no soda. (Carbonated water is okay, I drink that all the time). Also watch for hidden sugars and saturated and trans fat. If what you're eating has trans fat, stop eating it! It's not good for you.
Good luck and I hope you get the dress you want.
