I would ask a lawyer. Do you mean go to the Driver's License Bureau to get an ID or just to some place like Kinko's?
I don't much think they will arrest you there but I am not sure. I don't think the people at the DL place has that sort of jurisdiction or authority.

a couple of year's ago my daughter had a warrant she could not cash checks b/c of no id and i took her to the dmv and got a state id and we left with no problem but here lately things have changed so much you cannot live without an id i would contact the court and see what you would have to do to clear it up as long as it is not serious

it's a possibility. Clear up your warrant. Just get in touch with the court who issued it and find out what you have to do. You can do this on the phone.

Depends on the type of I.D. but if i were you i wouldn't go near any state buildings if you have a warrent. If its not that serious you should just turn yourself in.
