I was looking up exactly the same thing, try www.premiercottages.co.uk and order a brochure, its full of ideas and areas...or Center Parcs is fab, but quite expensive...Have fun!

Try Cumbrian-Cottages.co.uk; they will probably have quite a lot of availability in February and there are tons of places for walking in the Lake District

try blakes country cottages or hoseasons they both have lots nice cottages houses etc
